WEDDINGS AND RECEPTIONS

Crossroads Brass wedding and receptions image.

Many people do not know the variety of music that is available to the modern brass ensemble.
The characteristics of brass instruments lend themselves to the celebration of life that a wedding symbolizes.
A brass quintet can be soft and sensuous or bright and noble.

Crossroads Brass can provide a sampler (free of charge) to demonstrate
the variety of music that is normally played at wedding ceremonies.
Most pre-service music is subdued and introspective
to put everyone into the proper frame of mind while guests are being seated.
The bride’s processional is generally characterized as stately or regal
befitting her entrance to this life changing event. Most post-service music is bright
and joyous and announces the end of the ceremony and the beginning of the couple’s new life together.

The choice for wedding music however is ultimately a matter of personal taste
and whatever is chosen is entirely appropriate. This is an event the bride and groom
will remember for the rest of their lives.

Below is a sample of music titles that is arranged into pre-service,
processional and post service recessionals.
Keep in mind that this is only a sample of the music available.
